Cardi B’s boyfriend, NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, has been confirmed as the father of Instagram model Aileen Lopera’s baby girl, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, following a paternity test.
“The paternity has been confirmed. Mr. Diggs is the father of the child,” Lopera’s attorney, Tamar Arminak, told Page Six on Wednesday. “Now that the child’s paternity has been established and Mr. Diggs has acknowledged his daughter, my client hopes they can work toward being great parents to their child.”
While paternity has been settled, Arminak clarified that the case remains open. “The case will move forward if the parties are not able to resolve [their issue] themselves,” she added.
An attorney for Diggs did not immediately respond to media requests for comment. The U.S. Sun was the first to report the confirmation.
Lopera, a Fashion Nova ambassador, originally filed the paternity suit against Diggs in December 2024, seeking full legal and physical custody, with visitation rights for the Patriots wide receiver. She also requested that Diggs cover her pregnancy and birth expenses, along with her attorney’s fees.
After Lopera gave birth in April 2025, Diggs responded to the case by requesting a genetic test to confirm paternity, stating he was “not certain” of the child’s parentage. The test results have now confirmed he is the father. Diggs has since requested joint legal and physical custody of baby Charliee, as well as a shared split of pregnancy-related costs and legal fees.
The revelation comes as Diggs prepares to welcome another child — this time with Cardi B, who announced her pregnancy in September during an interview on CBS Mornings.
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” Cardi told Gayle King, adding, “I’m excited. I feel very strong, I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
Cardi, 33, already shares three children — Kulture, Wave, and Blossom — with her estranged husband, Offset. Diggs, 31, is also the father of 9-year-old Nova, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Tyler-Marie.
As for Lopera’s case, her attorney says discussions are ongoing to resolve custody and financial arrangements privately — but if not, the matter will proceed in court.
