Things got tense for Draya Michele and her NBA boyfriend Jalen Green at New York Fashion Week.
The couple was spotted in a heated late-night argument outside The Manor Hotel in SoHo after attending designer Mer Alas’ NYFW soirée on Friday morning. Footage obtained by the Daily Mail shows Draya, 40, rushing toward Green, 23, as two friends tried to step in and calm the situation.
At one point, a friend pleaded with them: “Stop, stop, stop… everybody going to get into trouble. Everybody forgive each other!” But the tension carried on as the group walked down the sidewalk, with one friend physically guiding Draya away from the confrontation.
Despite the public spat, Draya appeared unbothered later in the day. She posted a clip to her Instagram Stories of the couple’s 1-year-old daughter walking the streets of New York.
Draya, a mom of three, has faced ongoing criticism for her relationship with Green, given their 17-year age gap. Many social media users point out that the Rockets guard is the same age as her eldest son, Kniko, 23. “Having a stepdad the same age as you is weird as hell,” one fan wrote online.
Still, the couple has continued to push forward publicly. Draya shares another son, Jru, 9, with ex-fiancé Orlando Sandrick, and Green remains by her side despite the scrutiny.
Whether this NYFW dust-up was just a moment of passion or a sign of deeper issues, the couple hasn’t publicly addressed it yet.
