RHOP’s Karen Huger Released After Serving 6 Months for DUI Crash

Karen Huger, known to Bravo fans as the “Grand Dame” of The Real Housewives of Potomac, has officially been released from jail.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Corrections, Huger walked free Tuesday morning after serving six months at the Montgomery County Detention Center in Maryland.

The reality star was originally sentenced earlier this year to two years, with one year suspended, for her February 2024 DUI crash. She was also ordered to pay $2,900 in fines. Sources say her early release came thanks to good behavior behind bars.

Huger’s legal troubles dominated headlines throughout 2024, and fans are already speculating how much of the fallout will be shown on the next season of RHOP.

For now, the “Grand Dame” is back home — and viewers are waiting to see how she addresses the drama both on and off the screen.
