Karrueche Tran is opening up about her love life — and while she didn’t drop a name, fans are convinced she’s hinting at Deion Sanders.
During a recent appearance on the What’s Next with J. Ryan podcast, the actress and model smiled when asked if she was dating. “Yeah, I’m dating,” she admitted, adding that she’s having fun with it. “If I wasn’t having fun, I wouldn’t be in it.”
Host J. Ryan pressed further, joking that she’d recently “taken a liking to football.” Karrueche laughed off the comment but didn’t confirm who she’s seeing. Still, rumors have swirled since July, when she was spotted at Sanders’ side during his recovery from bladder cancer surgery.

Sanders himself dodged questions about her on the Say What Needs to Be Said podcast, smiling but refusing to clarify.
Karrueche also revealed that she’s approaching love with a more serious outlook these days:
“I’m at a point in my life, like, I know what I want. I’ve dated a lot. I’ve done a lot. … If I wasn’t happy and content, and feeling good in my situation, I’m not wasting my time. I’d rather be at home, namaste, in bed at 9 o’clock doing my own thing if I’m not happy.”
The Claws star has a high-profile dating history — including Chris Brown, Victor Cruz, and rumored ties to Quavo. As for Sanders, the NFL Hall of Famer and Colorado Buffaloes coach split from fiancée Tracey Edmonds in late 2023.
Whether or not she’s officially linked to Prime Time, Karrueche is clearly enjoying this new chapter — and she’s not wasting time on anything that doesn’t bring her peace.
