Disturbing new allegations have emerged against Errol Musk, the 79-year-old father of billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk. According to an in-depth report from The New York Times, five of Errol’s children and stepchildren claim he subjected them to sexual abuse spanning three decades, with the earliest incident allegedly dating back to 1993.
Court documents, emails, and family interviews reportedly detail how Errol maintained psychological and emotional control over parts of the family. One stepdaughter says Errol first touched her when she was only four years old. A decade later, she alleges she caught him sniffing her underwear. Other relatives have since stepped forward, accusing him of harming two of his daughters and a stepson.
Over the years, authorities have opened at least three separate investigations into the claims. Two were ultimately dropped, while the status of the third remains unclear. Despite the troubling accusations, no formal charges have been confirmed at this time.
For his part, Errol Musk has denied everything. “There was no evidence because this is nonsense,” he told The Times, further alleging that the family is being manipulated for money and accusing his children of trying to extort Elon Musk.
Elon Musk himself has remained silent on the latest report. However, in a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO painted a grim picture of his father, calling him a man who would “plan evil.” Elon recalled that he chose to live with Errol when he was just 10 years old, but later admitted, “It was not a good idea.”
Neither Elon nor his representatives have issued a statement regarding the new allegations.
