Less than sixty days remain until Essence Fest, one of the hottest festivals of the Summer season. Although the lineup and activities are still being polished, announcements are steadily hitting the media.

Essence Fest took to their Instagram page Thursday, May 2 to announce Birdman and Cash Money Team are set to hit the stage this July in New Orleans. Captioning the post with “The most anticipated reunion goes down at this year’s ESSENCE Fest. You asked, and we delivered,”
The Essence Fest page set the tone for what event goers and attendees should expect come festival time. It's been a while since fans have seen the Cash Money team together so for many the anticipation is high as this performance will likely be a sight to see.
Additionally, as the music festival marks its 30th anniversary, they're expected to spare no expense in delivering an unforgettable experience for this year's celebration. 30 Years of Essence Fest x Birdman Presents 30 Years of Cash Money Millionaires = 30 Years of Culture.
As the date draws nearer, Essence Fest will continue sharing updates about the other artists set to grace the stage in NOLA.
